Evening All! For all of those who have had their ears lowered, that looks better. For those who have switched quilts, may you sleep lighter. For LD well done Just done the on line shop with the aid of the floor standing fan. It's been a Godsend these last two nights. I'd better not complain about it taking up room being unused through the winter. Unpleasant task performed this morning and made to feel better about it when someone heard a comment of "I couldn't give a t""s". Not sure if this was bravado, but hey ho, it had to be done. It's been another hot one hasn't it? Luckily my side of the building at work is in the shade during the afternoon, so it wasn't too bad. Everyone pleasantly shattered?Granny on the Game in Sheffield

Hi RL. My daughter hates it when I parade my dirty feet in front of her, but she admits that when my feet are filthy I'm at my happiest! I know you shouldn't garden in sandals, but that's comfiest for me. Lovely feeling being pleasantly shattered. What happened to the Rant Thread? Has it been closed because we're all happy in the sunshine? I needed to rant, but the moment passed whilst I was looking for itGranny on the Game in Sheffield

Evening all!
Just this minute got in from the Hill - it was still light right up to the moment the security light went on as I came down the drive, and now I find it is dark.
Done a couple of hours weeding, picking young broadies, peas, a drunken woman lettuce () and the first of the sweet peas. I have paused only to put the sweet peas in water, and to grab a glass of quince, rhubarb and thingyberry wine.
Oh, and to take a pic...
