What a scare, VC.
But well caught!
Domino used up one of his lives as a kitten when he fell off the kitchen window sill. Would have been ok, but I was living in a first floor flat at the time.
He'd been mooching about on the balcony late one evening, and I thought it odd when I couldn't find him - it was a studio flat, so limited hiding room, even for a kitten.
I can still remember the terrible feeling in the pit of my stomach when I realised there was only one place he could be, and it was concrete shaped. I looked over the balcony dreading seeing a flat cat, but he was wandering about, absolutely fine. But what a scare!
Ugh - someone talk about jollier things, will you?
