I miss my gorgeous mum and think about here every day. I'll miss her more today than I did yesterday, just like love grows each day so does the love you feel for those we have lost.

I wont be able to see my gorgeous daughter till later today and I can't wait. She is having a little daughter of her very own, due at the end of June. Yippeeeee. Im going to be a nana. (About time too!)

I must admit to feeling a bit glum today. 6 years since we lost my mum, and usually today I'd take some flowers up to the memorial up at my dad's, mooch around a bit, have a cuppa with him etc. Bit weird today though because he's away and his new partner's daughter is staying in the house Not that I don't want him to be happy, but I have no desire to meet/see his 'new family' in my mam's place today :'(

And, like VVG, my offspring have only just started stumbling out of bed.,.

Happy Mother's Day all!

I have cards & flowers and Amazon vouchers (fab!) I used them to buy pretty peep toe wedge sandals for my holiday - I haven't had sandals for donkey's years - can I put that down as a Challenge?

Took my wee bunch of flowers up to the Crem. It's very busy up there - touching that so many people don't forget, but sad too. Lots of people looking more than a little lost, lots of hugs needed......I didn't go and hug in case they had me arrested.

I'm off to see my mummy It's a game of two halves and I've had my half now. New silky scarf with hearts all over it. Cooked breakfast that turned into lunch. My mulberry tree. Some hyacinths and a video made by daughter. So tears over. I'm now off to cheer mine up with a book about hedgerows of GB and a posy from my garden in a new enamel ewer.

Called this morning with Mother's card, plus a membership for Mecca Bingo. So gonna treat her to a night out tonight.............The one thing I do remember when growing up was how much she loved bingo..........she's all giddy.........

A very Happy Mothering Sunday to all of you. Thank you for being so thoughtful Mally. I've got Summer flower bulbs from my eldest son, a very nice Muscadet from my youngest son and my daughter struggled in with a bag of compost, some fleece and a growbed! I'm delighted with my presents and lovely cards. Nicest things, though, were the cuddles.

Rang my Mum about 11.30 - she was just getting dressed I'll see her tomorrow as she's at my brother's for lunch today. She thinks Mother's Day is a over commercialised and complete waste of money anyway! She gives me back the cards that I send her, so that I can give them to her again the following year. She's in for a surprise tomorrow as its a new one
