The problem I have with google maps (even having done several) I have no idea how to add a point to an existing map without spending what seems like a week looking at it.

The Oldham allotments one took me not very long once I sussed it though - but I couldn't tell you how to do it now to save my life!

And I have no idea how to do that blue line round places either! Like on Currysniffa's Half Plot

Back to the original idea, everybody just lives in my laptop to me, only really look at locations when they seem to be doing something much later / earlier than I am to see if it seems reasonable or not - usually then forget where they are too but not sure I'd really bother looking at the map and certainly wouldn't want to locate my own house on it but as said, you can be more vague than that.
