This has already been done, on Gurgle Maps. I think Wayne got it going but it may not have been. Anyway, it never really took off, as a lot of people didn't want to be 'stalked' so didn't post their locations.
It was then resurrected, a year or so later, with similar results.
See, that'll teach me to open a thread, go and eat my dinner, then come back and reply without refreshing the screen first!
