I madea vital error placing it on the starry fabric and didn't leave enough border space, so I had to stick a 'school-project' like card frame around it, which is naff.

It's #1 Son's girlfriend's birthday the weekend after Easter, I might attempt another owl for her. I think, though, I'll put another layer of sticky up feathers across the middle of the tummy area.

And I'll make sure there is sufficient backing fabric next time

Just ordered some more feathers. Later in the year I can collect chook feathers when they moult. I thought my Ma might like an owly birthday card too.
