The forecast is so good for the next few days. I managed two sessions on the plot today and finished off my potato planting- over half the first plot finished off and now paths and fruit beds to rejuvenate.
Dog treats allotment sessions just like a walk so it is win win as far as I am concerned

And today i took a big selection of old gardeners world magazines for free at a carboot..and picked up one of those 5 pronged twisty forks for two euros ti try and solve my garlic problem

i have just seen what they have done to my shed... pink, blue and cream stripes...it looks like a beach hut on amphetamines!

The Council have just informed me that, we have been overcharged on next years 'allotment invoices' charged double the correct amount for shed. This is going to be reimbursed in full, a whole £5.00, now how should I spend this? Another bag of compost maybe

Clearing bolted cabbages today, but i felt it only polite to let the cabbage white finish laying her eggs before digging up the plant and taking it to the compost.

Whilst pulling grubby plates out of the sink, to 'sort' before washing-up. What did I find, neatly folded, but soggy, stuck under the bottom plate?

A ten pound note! Yup, mental! Now drying in the sun, before going in my wallet!
