Getting a letter from the Council yesterday to say they are finally granting me joint tenancy of my Dad's allotment!! We've had a four-year long wrangle over this and I am VERY grateful to the new manager who has seen the error of previous management's ways and changed the policy, not just for me but for the benefit of others too. Hooray, hurrah! Now Dad (91) can pop his clogs in his own time and not hang on the requisite number of years for my name to get to the top of the waiting list!! Just kidding, Dad
