    • Was allowed to go fishing at Brighton today as the forecast was bad (apparently) & swmbo wasn't going out in it. Rain stopped as I arrived at 10.35 and resumed at 16.24 as I left with a big bag of mackerel for the smoker.

      • Domino cat. It's been a topsy turvey week or so since Oli cat is no longer with us, and part of the fall out is that Dom has taken to making himself comfy the top of the stairs at bedtime (waiting for the Oli to come home?) and stopping there all night rather than tucking himself up on the bed behind my knees. He's never been one for a fuss, and is not very tactile, so this cuddle is something I cherish.

Tonight, as I type on the notepad in bed, he's back.

I'm far too hot with him there, but I don't care.

Rudeness is in the eye of the beholder, if its good enough for nature to produce its good enough to upload.

                • Molly cat, seems to have picked up after urgent rushed visit to vet last night, next appointment, next Friday, ( hopefully Not as expensive!). She's now being very pampered, with 'gourmet food', wish she liked courgettes.

                        • The dog's colitis recurrence has been headed off at the pass by rice and chicken for a few days -instead of another expensive visit to the vet, where they were saying we would have to have it investigated because it had recurred (£££££)
