In a meeting with a supplier earlier today, finding out that he has just taken on an allotment, and is full to bursting with it! Spent the whole meeting comparing notes - but on planting, not on business.
It has saved her from being put to sleep in Spain - poor thing. I am waiting to hear if we are suitable, but we have offered to foster her. She's being rescued this weekend.
I had already made tentative leanings towards a maybe, but we come as a family and it has to be right for all of us, although I would take all of them if I could.
Well we are now being asked if we are interested in adoption, should she and Rooty get on. Also subject to a home visit!

dont know whether to put this here or in the minor rant thread! Got my contract at work extended (before the end date too!) Not sure if its a perm or ANOTHER extension.... had four extensions and two years already! invest in ME although I put it here cos I'm happy that I have a good job that I enjoy in a challenging environment!
