Having my horse behave himself perfectly(ish) while he was x-rayed this pm. He had to stand absolutely still up on blocks of wood while big scary machines and sticks with paddles on were pushed in and around his legs and then he has to put his leg in a wedge to hold his foot off the ground but he couldn't put any weight on it for more shots. (This is the positive side, as it's to see if he has to be retired - he's only 12.)

Mr PP has just recounted the tale of a chap who spent £12 on buying a premium rate phone number which he then gave out to all the nuissance callers (PPI etc) to call him back on. He's made £300 so far.
Being given some figs to do something with, being given a huge bag of rosehips, a tall lottie holder helping me pick damsons , taking a newly concocted recipe up for trial at the lottie and it being very well received........

Completing my transformation of the school garden yesterday! Have brought it from weedy wilderness to a mix of well tended shrubbery, growing areas, lawns and wildlife beds. On my own. By hand. WOMAN VERSUS WEEDS !!!!!! Yes!!!
