We had home made celariac soup last night. Yummy.
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Freecycle and the very generous people who use it.

We were discussing how we will need to get the downstairs doors widened at my parent's house and will have to replace all of the skirting, just a day or two later a lovely woman offered 22 3m lengths of new pine skirting. I'm usually not very lucky on freecycle but I picked them up tonight.

Hearing Mr VVG tell the entire team in Brazil and Japan to "SHURRUP" - very loud voice - when he was in fact telling the dog off. Your conference call was not on mute sweetie. I am still sniggering, especially when I heard the team lead say, I think he was addressing the dog Priceless!

Managing to get the back garden greenhouse just about functional, despite the pesky rain. Just need to clean up and test the heater now and we're back in business

Don't know where to put this but I'm looking for you kind Grapes to send me and quite a few others some good vibes and wishes. AGM starts at 7.30pm tonight if we "win" then the allotments will be open to all. If we lose then a lot of people will not be welcome - includes physically disabled and school children. If we lose best close down the rant thread.

Well it was a bit of a car crash AGM but we won. A certain member of the opposition (only polite term I can use) did pick on Mr Frosty, yeah big and brave pick on someone with cognitive impairment. Dumbest move was trying to pick on meSo I like to think any good wishes from the Vine helped us. Oh, and did I mention the opposition (who numbered three in total) only ever got three votes for anything they tried to do

Going back to look at the frosty probs in a minute.

Just need to say - makes me happy when some people have a chuckle over people and their ways. Not in a nasty way, just chuckling over how it is for them, and making me feel more normal and ok.
Oh, and paying the vet off totally for the first time in .............oh maybe 5 or 6 months?

                              Bluddy hope it lasts!
