Yesterday we had a freezing easterly gale and pelting sleet and rain, so we went to the beach for a picnic. Hot tea, crusty bread and cheese and apple pie (in the car) outside waves crashed on the beach and lots of birds feeding on the strand to watch. I loved it

My son. He is a 'special' boy but in his own terms he is doing so well. A few years ago I wouldn't even have dared hope that he'd cope with being in a crowd, manage to put gravy on his dinner or that he'd understand how to make a computer slideshow. He has done all of those this week. THIS WEEK!
