I've seen two hovering Kestrels in two days, here, too. Lovely. Though how they manage to hover in this biting north-easterly gale, is beyond me!

I've been counting Buzzards on the way to B/water. The sister doesn't like motorway driving so we go the A roads instead - thirteen Buzzards. There's one, in Brent Knoll, who sits on a lamp post right above the road - she's always there.

Wearing a friends baby in a sling, and watching Le Impossible Spot breathe in two deep breaths of baby smell, then gently breathe down the baby's neck so he could recognise Le Spot as well. So cute!
