Mr VVG knowing how dreadful I felt last night when the dreaded migraine came on, so this morning he was on the lotty at 06:45 to water all my new plantings. I know they're carb-heavy. I'm working on the principle that if'n I eat all of the bags in the shop, they won't have any more left for me to eat......they only get them two or three times a year.

The grass hopper warblers have returned. I was so happy to hear them. They make the most amazing sound, like a bicycle wheel spinning, non stop ticking sound. Its a cold evening here with a storm brewing so I hope they won't freeze, they are just tiny little birds!

...I have spend most of the morning though trying to get a burnt on layer of grease/oil off it though
Have you tried putting cheap cola in it, put it on to boil and soak for a few hours, not tried it myself but have heard it works wonders for burnt on stuff!
