It seems my bluebells are not native, I'm pretty sure they're Spanish. i wonder if Ireland has the same native variety and is it very wrong to have spanish bluebells in my wood. They still make me happy but I wish they were of the native variety.

It's not quite 'what makes you happy' but it did make me laugh. Turns out I've had a jelly baby stuck to me bum for at least half the day. Typically, it took a small child to be forward enough to point it out. Gawd knows what my neighbours, passers by on my walk and fellow parents at the school gate thought

Right today has been utter tripe. So, trying to think of three good things to reprise the day from complete tripeyness;
1. Getting two king size duvet sets for £22 at the supermarket.
2. Getting a lovely grey sweater for the BH for £6 - really gives him that silver fox look, I think!
3. The sun did try....my garden is looking fairly verdant now.
And I've bought a lottery ticket, so there is hope for the day yet........Jules

LIke Verinda, sunny day without the wind! Lovely. I would prefer rain, of course, but we've had clouds wind and iciness with no wet stuff, so this is good.
