  • I'm going on holiday a month today. Me. On vacation. In a month. First time I've been away for three years. First time I've been away, for more than a weekend, in ten years.

I sooooo need a holiday. So I'm going with two pensioners and a cripple......

        • Ringing Mr VVG to interrupt his meeting, because a WHFT bitch needs a foster home urgently and I asked him if we could/should. Yes, why not was the response. He is cr@p at weeding, but he has a heart of gold

Now that's where you and I differ - I'd've said yes anyway, then told him when he got home. Congrats, hope you get her - Rooty will be soooooo pleased.

            (I'm currently searching, too...)

It has saved her from being put to sleep in Spain - poor thing. I am waiting to hear if we are suitable, but we have offered to foster her. She's being rescued this weekend.
I had already made tentative leanings towards a maybe, but we come as a family and it has to be right for all of us, although I would take all of them if I could.
