My apple tree makes me happy ........haven't a clue what sort it is but the apples are really crisp and yummy . Must be a very old tree as our house is old but it puts up with my attempts at pruning and every year we have a crop ......

Having a gite left in a superbly clean condition!

....but what made me chuckle is that I'd left an English air freshener in the bathroom and the French wife asked me if it could be bought over here in France.
I said I didn't think S@insbury's had an outlet in France....and she said she thought it was the best shower cleaner she'd ever used!!!!

Goodness knows what she'd been using as an air freshener!

I hadn't the heart to tell her what it really was

Three days of conversation, sunny days out and good food with buddies from the UK. We only see them once a year or so, yet always just seem to pick up where we left off last time.

It is mostly polymer clay to make exotic beads and pendants. The wire is to make said beads into rings.

Nephew in law's wedding celebrations yesterday.

SWMBO's clan drove in from around the country and flew in from around the world.

Don't think I've seen her so happy for ages. Me too chance to catch up with everyone all in all a very, very good day.

And before you ask VC yes I was ever so slightly tipsy.
