Plastered a ceiling yesterday. First foray into the world of plastering. Got more on me and the floor, but, it is still on today and it is flat.
My son saw me working and was caught by mummy in the act of applying yoghurt to a door frame. Oops. I suppose it did look like chocolate mousse.
I have taken on most jobs, electrical, building, mechanical etc, but plastering! can't do it for the life of me. I end up making snow balls of it and hurling them at the wall. Then for you to tackle the worst plasering job of all a ceiling! you have my respect.
The man over the road (who I've never seen to speak to before) coming across to offer me use of his drive to park on whilst our drive is being resurfaced.
Off toYorkshire, next week, to spend time with 5 yr old grandson, being silly. Like dressing up for Halloween!
Well I've 'sorted' my Halloween outfit, how useful are old sheets! But I bet despite being totally covered up, when grandson opens the door, he'll say ' Hello Grandma'! Haha
Spending an enjoyable evening with a fellow grape & being able to put a face to a name............Cheers RT, it was a pleasure meeting you.

Finally getting somewhere with getting my work start date ending six months of unemployment got a weekend planned with a good friend sorting out the shed, getting rid of rubbish, getting a new cage to my friend for her house bunny and finally moving my herd of reprobates into the shed ready for winter yay!
Arrived at a Hewendon Mill cottages, near Haworth. Seeing and hearing the ducks, right outside the window, wonder what time they start quacking in the morning?
