Sitting on the deck with a glass of wine, the empty dip container and water crackers.
The little dog and the vegetarian dog see a bird and run barking off the deck....Just your average kelpie steps forward, picks the edge of the dip container in his teeth and backs quietly away....Your name may be lucky, but today is NOT your lucky day. Put it down dog!

Who would have thought that just over 3 months ago I would have adopted a puppy who was totally scared of humans and of living in a house - to where she is now.
She is by no means completely house trained but she is so responsive and when I tell her she is a good girl she adores it. Her tail wags all the time and she knows many simple commands - along with some subtle body language that I will never figure out!
I reckon she could be trained as a disability support dog so easily - she already helps me out with the laundry - if I could persuade her to stop running off with my socks and undies lol.
