  • This made me laugh a few moments ago. Met the site manager, who said "two h^es have come into college. They belong to you? They are sat in the cupboard."

It was the way he said it...

I disagree......especially after just being told my jams are awesome

Sounds a bit showy off but it made me very happy
We would regularly have jam sandwiches for tea, today's children want pizza or a Macky. Maybe jam will make a comeback in these hard economic times. What could be better than toast, dripping with melted butter and strawberry jam. Not to mention scones with Devon cream and jam Mmmmmmmm.

      • my daughter telling me she adores her jams in her Xmas hamper...espesh the plum and chocolate and plum and cinnamon...says they are really festive!

...she tends to use jams in porridge in the morning rather than on toast.

            • My Mother and the NHS
All the staff were so kind to her while she's been at the hospital this morning. Before she left, she thanked them all and wished them Merry Christmas and several of the staff told me what a lovely lady she was. Hope I'm like that at 93.

                            • The reaction of a friend on getting a film she loved.

We'd been talking about someone who had moved - I'd lent this person books and she'd lent her a copy of her favourite film ever. Happened to see this film cheap yesterday so got it and just put it through her door.
                              She is over the moon!
