We also, the number of empty bottles this morning is almost shocking, but it was over 6 hours, and it was New Year!

                      • I am so proud I could burst. I bought youngest GG (she's 11) a knitting craft book as a stocking filler and she has today completed the front part of a cushion with 2 changes of colour and a moss stitch pattern. I taught her well. Wow. Smug smiley.

                          • Having someone compliment me on my children. Went for a wellie walk with my 7 year old daughter today and our dog whilst hubby and my two boys were at rugby. We bumped into one of our neighbours who is also a local councillor whilst he was chatting to some other passers by. He then proceeded to tell me (in front of the others) how despite the fact he encounters so many local children each day he thinks mine are the most polite, well mannered and respectful children he's met! I know it sounds smug but I was teary eyed with pride!
Not to mention relieved that the sounds of my playing referee to their loud arguments clearly hasn't travelled to his house!
