Me again . Good mate who tested positive for rheumatoid arthritis has now had a load more bloods done and it was a rogue result.
And, heating the house to 24 degrees today - by leaving the doors open. Bring on the snow indeed, silly temperatures for January.

seeing youngest getting her confidence back and being happy in a new relationship with a really nice genuine fella. Has been a long time coming ..she hit rock bottom about 18mths ago and now finally we've got our happy girl back ..

Have planted the 3 'dwarf patio' fruit trees up on plot, weren't really doing very well in pots on balcony, so took your advice and have replanted. I do buy things in 'mad moments' !

Dorothy I had a dwarf apple tree in a 24" pot for 3 years and got no where.

When I decided to give in my son snaffled it took home and the next year brought me some of his surplus apples. Talk about a red face.

Perversely, our apple trees planted in the garden did nothing this year, but the one in the 2ft pot was truly laden.

Oh that's interesting, I think I thought the blossom wud look nice,which it did for about a day, I have a plum, an apple and a cherry, labels have come off so. I don't know which is which anyway, but have planted them together between my plot and adjoining one, we'll see.

Where we used to live, we were surrounded by ornamental cherries, in front and next-door, and we had a huge Wisteria in the back garden. The blossom was absolutely stunning, but always preceded a windy spell - what a mess!

I still miss that garden, and the house, actually. But not the Landlord!

A couple of years ago, ASDA were offering 1 box of 240 tea bags for £5.99 or 2 for £6. That made me sooooo happy!!

Hyacinths showing about 2 to 3 inches of greenness.

They're ones that I've bought in pre-planted pots & baskets in previous years. The blooms are never properly developed because they were forced, but I can bear to throw them away, so they get dried out and shoved in a long planter together.
