        • A day like today, you can smell spring, you can feel it, the birds know it. Sowed a load of stuff today, peas in trays, carrots in a huge container, iceberg lettuce, sun flowers, tomatoes, various flowers, marigold and cosmos, built a hoop cloche for the carrots just need to put on the insect netting. Made some leek and potatoe soup with the last of the leeks. I ache in every muscle but I feel sorry for non gardeners they dont know what they are missing.
