Finding enough small change in the car to pay for the fish and chips that were waiting for me in the chipshop. Just as well, as they wouldn't take the till receipts bulging out of my purse than I thought were money and the cash machine in the pub next door wasn't working
Tasted good - and worth the embarrassment

Now I'm one of those who keeps emergency money secreted away. I have a fiver folded in my mobile phone case, and I used to keep one in the sun visor ticket holder thingy, one in the ashtray and various others.
