Your lovely dog seems to match your decor, JeanieD! Or is that mud on the coverlet?

        • You've just got to love springers IMO one of the most personable breeds around, but that coat is made to transport mud.

          • They are also full of courage, our springer (Rosie) had to have a front leg amputated last year, but does that stop her? no way. She still jumps into and out of our car when we go for walks. It puts extra strain onto her good front leg and you can sometimes see her struggle, but does she complain? not a bit of it. I would of course help her but she is very independent.

            • Aw bless, she looks sooooo comfy. I love dog pics.

My poor mutt was out on the hills with his Dad today and is now suffering with his arthritis as a result. He's taken himself off to his bed and is clearly feeling it now.

Silly man sometimes forgets the dog just can't run like he used to.

I can even see the white cows and their calves in the field behind

                    Magic!

                    • The moon has been fantastic for the last few nights - huge and orange and so low in the sky that I felt I could reach out and touch it.
Its higher and white now - and I can see you, Nicos, looking at it too

Lovely, head on cushion as well, makes me feel like I want to cover her up with a blanket to keep her cosy.
