  • Spending the afternoon, with my cousin and his wife, whom I hadn't met with for 32 years, until we met up again at a funeral. He is almost 70, we've met twice in our adult lives, 1983 and 2013, and today.

    • Where to start?
      1. Going for a paddle
      2. Buying loads of cheap plants - gazanias, fuchsias, French marigolds, pansies, trailing begonias, reduced to 50p and £1, 3 boxes of Jamie Oliver seeds @ 20p and a 3 tier steamer reduced from £30 to £4.93.
      All from H0meb@se with an extra 15% off today - total £9.75
      3. Lots of food bargains at Son of Morris too.

            • Finally finished hand-shredding huge pile of sappy hedge trimmings to use as mulch on rock- hard ground, on top of cardboard - hope this works! Impossible to dig as water-impenetrable!!
