We are still coping with the knock-on effects. Knees and ankles now - not being able to walk fluidly has stressed out the BH's knee/ankle joints. I wish he'd never even heard of that op.....

Cold weather, not getting any warmer, so the snow/ice layer isn't melting.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...............................bladdy weather mucking up holiday plans, the site we were going to rang to say conditions too bad to open, so spent an hour ringing round loads of others. Managed to get a few days away at a local site next week in the end. Was so looking forward to 9 days r & r and seeing new places, oh well...........

Not a rant really- but very, very frustrated.

I have 3 friends with Cancer and one of them has suddenly taken a massive turn for the worse.

It's just sooooo unfair.

My rant - there should be a thread for the sad events that affect our lives - the things that no amount of ranting can change and where a "like" would signify sympathy and support.

My rant, someone yesterday putting the hex on my car by saying I was having car problems. Today while servicing my lawnmowers at my garage which is half a mile from the house, car battery somehow went flat. Was there for 4 hours or so and left keys in ignition. Must have left ignition on and with volvo headlights are on with ignition. Anyway, my son is offshore and my mate 100 miles away so used my breakdown cover. Be there within the hour. Great but it was an hour and a half and by that time I was half frozen. Would have walked home if I'd known they would be that long.

Anyway, that wasn't the end of it, when I looked out the house window at the car as I tried to warm up later, noticed rear wheel flat. Pumped it up using electric pump but it went flat again in a few minutes. Hole in the side wall. New tyre needed. .

Thumping headache earlier this evening but gone now thankfully. I don't often get headaches but when I do they seem to come big style.
