  • People who defraud the public purse.

As in Jule's doctor who will have charged a professional rate for a report written by an underling.

Time for a letter to the BMA me things.

      • Colin....it was £55. If we want a proper report it'll be another £55.

Rant: People who get free haircuts from me, then expect to go on their merry way leaving me with the mess. Grab the broom matey, I've done my bit.

        • Chuffin' squirrel.......first he manages to open the lid on the squirrel proof bird feeder and goes in through the top then.....I watched him tightrope walk along the washing line and hang upside down to pinch the fat balls out of the feeder hanging there .......I can't afford to feed him, the greedy little begger....

Rant - glow worm deciding to live under the compost bucket by the back door, squashed flat when I move the bucket. So sorry.
PP Letting agent has done that today - mind you only after my sister rang them up & let rip, plus Dad has the bond money back Hoping that he may get money owed too

The doctor wouldn't discuss the report she had already written because she didn't write it. She gave the receptionist permission to write it on her behalf from information the receptionist took from the BH's medical records. So, the receptionist - I did say receptionist, not medically trained person, didn't I? - the receptionist was, legally, allowed to decide what bits of the BH's medical records were relevant. So she chose to say that as the BH had lost two stones in weight which could only, in her opinion, be achieved by exercise, then he doesn't need a carer or DLA. The doctor read and signed this without question. This is a doctor whom the BH had just seen about the crippling pain in ankles, knee & wrist.

So the midden hit the windmill. We have a 45 minute appointment with the new permanent doctor on the 9th. He can then properly assess the BH.

                For FFFFFF sake..........

Apologies, I am a tiny bit peeved.
Been through similar ourselves - really do sympathise, its stressful enough with what is going on painwise & every day things without the added stress of drs not putting full facts etc - cyber hugs coming your way.

                  • Right where to start.

Trying to sign uptoonline banking to sort out the Boy's savings account. He's just turned sixteen and willstart paying tax if we don't getit sorted out today. Took Hagglifax until today to send me the reference number tolog on,and even thenit wouldn't work as we need a debit/credit card number tolog on and he doesn't have any cards for a savings account. SoInow have togoin to town.

Trying tobuy 6 yds of fabric before the sale ends and ebayis not playing the game -P&P has come upat $114.......instead of $13. I hate this stoopid shopping basket thing.....

Andmy space button is acting up.

                    • I feel a bit dizzy. I hope it's not whatever it was I had the other year come back. I am not 100% right after yesterday either. Maybe I actually have a bug

                      • Getting home at lunch time, to discover ailing, resting Husband has put half the washing-up in the sink, filled sink with water and left it to go cold. He has moved remaining half of washing up to other side of kitchen. He has managed to empty half the drainer, but not all of it, so we now have clean and dirty together. He has also got out the fryer, cooked and eaten something, and left the resulting 'mess' where I had neatly stacked all the washing-up.

He's poorly, remember. Bad back. So can't sit or stand for long periods. Hence the dining room now has tools on it, and caravan parts. The only 'clear' bit of kitchen worktop has caravan parts on it, and he's outside, in the shed, mending things...
