  • Saw my first honey bee of the year today and watched as it flew into a spider web, so with a stick I pulled it out. Setting it to one side I observered it spending several minutes cleaning itself before flying off, straight into a different spiders web.
    Then I thought,
I know people just like that.

    • Now look. You won your item on 14th. You didn't pay until the evening of the 18th and I had your item to you by 21st. And that included a Sunday. The item was brand new, pristine condition, you admit that. So why have YOU left ME negative feedback.....

......well, ebay have just pulled it pending investigation.

I was enjoying Chelsea up until that point.

      • Strangely enough I didn't go the the allotment this lovely sunny afternoon to listen to your children shouting and you shouting over the top of them. Also how long does it take to strim round your plot? I did mine in about 10 minutes so why did you strim all afternoon. Oh and by the way there are plenty of paths you don't have to wheel your wheelbarrow along the one I am obviously working from and expect me to move for you. Let me know when you are next up and I won't bother. Sorry was that tomorrow you just shouted to each other.

          • When you changed the old padlock some months back you reversed the code number so that it read from the bottom instead of the top - this led to a number of plot holders being unable to gain access and others being unable to open the padlock to enable them to lock the gate on the way out, until they were made aware of the mix up - tonight you have again installed a new padlock and have reverted back to the original top to bottom code - the new padlock is exactly the same as the one just replaced so people will still be entering the code in reverse.

I was fortunate enough that when the code entered did not open the new padlock after a couple of tries tonight, I twigged that it might be new, as the old one had been giving some trouble this last week and on your past record thought you might well have reverted back to the original.

I look forward to tomorrow morning if I don't get there first

                • As usual today on the moterway there are bloody drivers in the middle fishing lane, when there is a perfectly decent inside lane going to waste. These plonkers make more people go into the outside lane to over take them to then go back into the inside lane.

                    • Some people read and absorb. Some don't.

Perhaps stop what you are doing and take a look around before continuously asking questions when the answer is staring you in the face if you'd just shut up and pay attention.

                        • When you expect people to provide things (shoes for instance) for the musical, don't say you'll look around for some, and then 2 days before expect parent to provide. Some of us work, and not here, and some of us could get a million of the b*ggers, if we had notice we needed them!
Also don't say 1/2 hours after final night, just before you cut the cake at the after-party.....and we'll see you all back here at 10.30 tomorrow morning for clearing up the theatre and taking all the stuff back to school..........you work at a country school - living 1/2 hours drive away is nothing compared to some. TG son took one look at my face and offered to take sister in for clearing duty (he was probably worried that the blood would take longer to clean up........)
I don't expect not to do anything - I just expect some bluddy notice!

                              • In the week, I laundered, ironed, defuzzed and carefully tidied a load of expensive clothes to go on the bay. I folded them into a big laundry basket and asked someone to take them up to the attic room, where they could sit undisturbed until I was ready to photograph & list them.

I go up there this morning to find that someone has purposely opened the door at the top of the attic stairs to 'let the fresh air blow through'. Which is lovely. Until you find that every cat we own - eight - have been taking turns to sleep all over my carefully laundered clothes, with muddy paws, cat hairs, and gawd-knows-what mank from the garden now deposited safely all over the aforementioned carefully laundered clothes.

Did I mention just how carefully laundered they were? Now I have to start all over again, washing, drying, starching, ironing.......so I can get them listed tonight. We have a week before we collect the car and I need to raise another £100 (or more if'n you want to fill the tank and go driving) so I could do without being back to Square One. Thanks guys.....

Oh, one more thing.......what were YOU doing going up the attic stairs?? You know you can't go up & down those narrow stairs safely, so DON'T take stupid risks!! I don't need you battered and bruised, you have far too much pain on a normal day, you daft beggar.
