Who do I sue when I get an imperial or metric splinter/pinch??
I was making new cold frames covers today for my raised beds, obviously due to the continuing cold weather darn sarff.....normally this time of the year we are picking strawberries in regard to the rest of the UK!!!!!
2" x 2" prepped timber making 4ft X 2ft frames which are then covered by thick polythene sheets that are first stapled with 3/4" staples and then followed up in between the staples with three quarter inch clout nails.....right on the last frame I nipped my left hand index finger by trapping it under a well hammered clout nail resulting in a bladdy geyser that required a plaster and some hyper ventilated deep breaths and a large rum.
Does anyone else still work in imperial like me or have you all sold out???
