4 months after a piece of coursework should have been handed in - they ask me where it is. What piece of coursework I say.

The ILP

I've done all the ILPs

No not those ILPS. The other ILP.

What other ILP?

I've never seen that form.

We asked for it with the skills scan.

Then why not send it with the skills scan

It's on the system

I can't see it on the system, and have no idea what ILP you were talking about. I thought I'd done all the ILPs.

If you search for ILP, or 'general' or 'Day 2' - then you should see it as it's tagged with those things.

I've searched ILP and it's not there - please see screen shot attached. I have searched for general and it's not there, please see list. I have searched for Day 2 and it's not there - please see the word document. So if I don't know what ILP you refer to when you talk about ILP, bearing in mind the other document is also an ILP, you don't send me the form, and don't let me have access to it, nor it is ever mentioned in the course booklet, how am I supposed to know what you are on about?

Excellent I can see it now. So - 4 months after I should have done something I finally find out what it is you have been going on about. Great. Well done. And I paid how much for this course again?

And no I don't have spare evenings to spend going through ALL my documents, uploads, files and course booklet looking for something I've not been informed of or given.

I'm fuming. And on the wine. Which doesn't happen often.

I don't expect anything from anyone and I don't ask for anything from anyone but it seriously peas me off when someone leads you to believe they are going to help you out a bit, give you a break, ease the load..........then just don't bother their erse.

Why do I find my stash of new egg boxes, two days after I buy some more?

I 'bought' an item, on my favourite auction site. I paid for said item, via P@yp@l at the time. Well over a week later, I asked seller where my goods were. After four days they got back to me, saying goods were damaged on arrival from distributor, and they were restocking and would despatch next week.

Two weeks later, I asked the same question. Four days later, I got the same excuse. I told them this was not acceptable, and that their taking four days to reply each time, was poor customer service. They gave another very apologetic excuse, so I asked for a refund.

They have 'initiated' the refund, but I can't actually 'have' the money in my P@yp@l account until next Monday.

They've just had yet another email...

This weekend, my sister's fiance walked out on her. The wedding was planned for October this year.
They had booked a honeymoon through Asda Travel, flying with Virgin Atlantic to Florida (for November this year). She knew at the time of booking it was non-cancellable.

She rung up yesterday to try and change the name on the ticket to a friend's name who has said she would go with her instead of her going on her own. Asda Travel were quite abrupt on the phone saying that she couldn't change the name. She has had to go to VA through Facebook, who have said that their tickets are non-amendable and she should have been advised this at the time of booking.

There is nothing on any of her documents (e-tickets) that states that it is non-amendable, and nothing specific on any of the T&Cs about VA tickets being non-amendable. She is adamant that she wasn't told at the time this was the case.

As you can imagine, she is in bits. She stands to lose quite a lot of money from the cancellation of the wedding anyway, and doesn't want to go on holiday alone. She will lose another £2k if she doesn't go, but none of us (friends or family) can afford to pay for another flight (at £1k).

No idea what to do about it. She is gutted and in tatters. I am gutted and fuming.

OWG, can you contact Trading Standards or CAB? They could go through the small print and find out just where your sister stands.

Tell me to bog off, but I do hope the ex will be digging deep into his pockets here......Hugs to your sister.

OWG - Make a stink - contact MSE, Watchdog, TSA, CAB, Asda, Richard Branson, whoever you (or your sister) can think of. Your sister is in a rotten situation and a big company will often compromise rather than have bad publicity.

Apparantly no airlines (other than low cost) offer transferable tickets nowadays. Don't know why.

Ex hasn't got any pockets to dig in! He actually asked my sister for his half of all the deposits back - she had to explain that they were deposits - you don't get them back!!

Drafting an email to VA and ASDA currently - also going to be putting in that she is (still) suffering from cancer, CFS, thyroid problems etc and she actually couldn't travel on her own, as she isn't able to, because she gets too tired etc.
