Exam revision timetable P2 Computing - we turn up, no teacher as she is teaching a class upstairs instead. Timetable wrong already and only day three. One morning carved apart in an already tight schedule and a wasted sixteen mile round trip. Well done - he could have gone to Physics or English Lit, but in the time it took to sort it out, he was too late for the others. Just brilliant - turds!

However if his remit was to be 'caring' per job title, then he has singularly failed!

Rain. 4 dry days so far this month. And now it's cold too. Read a report that this year the Pyrenees may not lose all their snow. Good news for glaciers. Rubbish for melons...

He was very abrupt and rude, not to put too fine a point on it. I phoned to ask if there was any other ways in which I could cut my gas/electric usage, as the last bill was horrendous - although that was due not to an increase in units used but to their price hikes. I was looking for helpful suggestions. He wasn't even joking when he suggested that I drape my disabled husband in 'heavy blankets' rather than have him sat next to a warm radiator.

Considering that these people owe me nearly £2000, you'd think they'd be a bit more helpful. I've also had to get CAB involved in getting most of that money back.

Caring could be construed as helping people live better and longer.
Cool temps and raw food are recipes for long healthy lives according to various bits of evidence.


Rant: It's cold and I had a salad for lunch and don't feel like I had anything proper so I had to have a oven bottom muffin as well. (No really.. perhaps the irony is you don't live longer in the cold and on a raw food diet but it feels like you do)

As I understand it, an auction is won by the highest bidder. It is, therefore, unacceptable to email me complaining that you should have won an item I have listed, not the person who actually did win. Do not ask me to sell the item to you for the highest bid you made, totally cutting out the person who did win by bidding a higher amount than you.
