I liked the Bodger's garden too as it looked a bit like mine - including the Three-cornered leeks All I need is a Bodger's shelter.....I'm sure that can be arranged
That cactus looks a bit vicious

That might work in your favour as visitors will leave if it rains too much - leaving more plants to be sold off for you to snap up

                  • Yep,the spikes growing upwards are near 2" long but apparently it has a really nice flower, got 2 others & the replacement I was looking for, ordered her a replacement for the one that flowered then died a couple of years back, picking that up at the Harrogate show in the autumn

Did in camera zoom to see how it was constructed .........

                    • Who, who were the owls? Did they come from Ebbw Vale sanctuary?
I hope it was be nice to see them again.

                      • Yes, Steve, the Ebbw Vale owls. They're on the left, beyond the big marquee, tucked away at the back in the peace and quiet. I love the way you can talk to them and they seem to be listening, with the occasional wink, then, as if they're bored to tears, they swivel their heads around and you're left talking to the backs of their heads. Wish I could do that

Bodger's garden is too neat underfoot to be real!

That's funny - I'm in love with that gothic tower in the middle there - but I've been to Cardiff castle and don't remember that? Are you sure you were in the right place??!

Actually, what I remember mostly from the visit, with my big sis Helen, is the guided tour guide taking one look at each of us and saying 'oh - sisters!', and Helen and I looking at each other and saying simultaneously 'But I don't look anything like you!

I know people who can do that when I talk to them!! There is a moral there somewhere!

                          • hi all, glad you all had fun.

I was in bed from 11am yesterday, to 6:30am this morning with stomach bug!

                            And I still feel terrible.

Looks like I wont be going anywhere today.

I might even have to stay off work tomorrow...
