So so so glad I went some amazing stuff there and picked up a few nice things did not stay as long I really wanted to as the flu tablets must have worn off!

And I'm ashamed to say in all my days I've never been to bute park before I will be going in the summer with the kids a ball/frisbee and a massive picnic what a beautiful place! I tried to log on to see if chilli grower wanted anything picked up as I read he was ill but had no 3G so sorry buddy if you did want anything

VC and the rest of the welsh posse we will have to sort a big meet up really wanted to attend yesterday oh well next time
The magnolia trees in bute are just stunning, yet hardly no one pays them any attention!

Thinking back, I think I may have seen you. By the cactus stand, near the entrance to the big floral tent on the left hand side? If you had a partner with you, blue/mauve-ish coat on? I think you had a hat on too, like your FB pic. I was by the daffs in, and by the time I'd made my way over, battling through the crowds you'd gone. I did loop back a few times to see if you'd come back to it, but didn't see you again!

                  • Sounds exactly like the BB and his OH that I met, Chris - and the cactus stand is the clincher - unless you spotted the Bazinga Tshirt
We met at 10-30 ish then went our own ways until 1 when we all met up again. It really is a shame that you missed us

                    • Yup, I should have got a couple of folks numbers - I'll do that next time NM though, I'll aim to make the next meet up.. house work is coming to a close so I shouldn't be as busy once it's done!

                          • Hi all. Was great to put faces to names (real and screen!) I'm glad you all liked the show. I have to admit that it's one of my favorite.

I got home about 9 last night (after spending 2 hours taking all the plants of the stand and packing them away for transport to Malvern) and have spent the day catching up on allotment stuff today after spending my evenings whilst at the show doing real work rather than socialising.
Have put up (most) of the pea and bean frames. planted the chrysanths, gladioli and asparagus I bought at the show, planted the potatoes and parsnips. moved the rhubarb and strawberries that were heeled in until I got their final beds in last weekend. I'm now really tired and a little sunburnt and I wish I had another day off!

                            • It was a pleasure to meet you too, Linnea. Hope to see you there again next year
You have been busy - you put me to shame!! I haven't even decided where to plant the Chinese Artichokes I bought yet - maybe I need a Bizarre roots and tubers bed
