There is just Percy in my garden for now (see my avatar). I love gargoyles and grotesques. Keeping my eye open for the perfect green man too...
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

I'm so annoyed with myself. In the garden I was working in yesterday, there is an old tree stump out of
which/through which has grown a conifer which over the years has been pruned into a lollipop shape. The owner has a gnome which stands on the old tree stump and it is so cute. I had intended taking a pic with my phone and forgot

rofl, topical but no idea. It is really old and quite rotted and the conifer has rooted right down through it.

Trees find a toe-hold just about anywhere. There's a huge ash tree in the garden, and in a crack in the bark, a birch and a conifer are growing. This is it last year!!

                Show us your Gnomes

Ok, after trying hard to find a gnome in a pic and knowing peoples love hate relationships with them I think it is only fair they should have a thread of their own

Will post pics of mine in a bit

This pair were made for me several years ago by my Uncle

This pair I found buried under plants around the pond. It is on my to do list to give them new fishing rods

Then there is Fred my whistling gnome (yes it is annoying )

It's the social stigma associated with being recognised as a gnomer (gnome owner).

Oh no VC has a rogue gnome, call the gnome office for advice.
