We're due snow - indeed there was a brief flurry this morning.
At the moment I can hear the wind howling about outside. I was going to see a friend for a coffee this evening but I think I'll leave it now!

The forecast here is for it to snow either 'light snow' or 'heavy snow' continuously from 10pm this evening through to 3am Sunday morning.

Tell a lie - there is a 1 hour window tomorrow lunchtime with just 'menacing cloud' so at least I can nip out for the paper.

Shame about going shopping/eat out with mum tomorrow after work; and the planned trip to Solihull on Saturday to Lakeland to replace my melted sieve, then onto Notcutts for peat free compo, cup of tea & a toasted teacake; and going to the Hill on Sunday to empty the compost bin onto the potato bed.

Oh well, I guess I wasn't going to be planting the potatoes out any time soon anyway.

Its March, snow is not unusual, providing it starts to warm up in April then I shall be happy. Much better than it being 'arris about' like last year.

I'm totally piffed off now ......I need sun and warmth . Plus my girls are in Wales visiting the outlaws and due to drive back Sat ......I shall be worritting until they are home safe. Seedlings are just all sitting ........all I can hope is that the bl'ddy allium flies get frozen to death .

It's rubbish, I'd actually managed to arrange some helpers and a large car to finish weeding, digging and clearing the ton of junk from my new plot but at this rate we'll all need flippers and snorkels! Maybe I should just go with the flow and dig a swimming pool instead
