Snow is meant to be here early hours and all day tomorrow. Whether we get it with being in the Cheshire plain and the Wrexham hills not to far away I hope it wants to stay there instead. Fed up of the cold winds and snow, glad I don't have to freeze my twits off down church tomorrow watching daughters Easter play will be in the over heated school instead. Hope it doesn't snow because my window cleaners daughter is getting married tomorrow, white wedding indeed. Done shop today so I didn't have to make a non essential journey out in the bad weather

Well, can't fault the forecasters - 10.05pm, and this is what we've got...

Thing is, I wouldn't mind the crap weather so much if we hadn't had scorching Marches for the last few years meaning that I've changed all my sowing habits to take account of it. Which means I've got either leggy or frozen seedlings all over the place. The peas are falling over they're so spindly in the porch, while the cabbage seedlings have frozen to death in the polytunnel Most can be sown again I guess, but it's a PITA. A bit of consistency would be helpful...

We have been thinking about growing rice, plot has only just started to dry out and we have more bloody rain on the way and temperatures going below 0 again, its getting damn stupid.
