I got caught on the M42 today - there had been an accident and it's the only logical way to get to where I needed to be - after an hour I turned back. Just been in the greenhouse with my new toy [a soil cube maker] to sow some pea seeds and can't feel my fingers. It's not this cold during the Christmad season! ENOUGH ALREADY. I've given up.

And if I had any wotsits, I would have frozen them off in the greenhouse this morning - frizzing!

Aye lad, I did the same in the community garden greenhouse this week. Checking max and min for the week and if it stays above 4 degrees, we're sowing more stuff in there.

I have been registering a steady 7`C all afternoon. Like you I will check the max/min in the morning providing its stayed at 6 or 7 degrees I shall be happy.

Then turn it up ready for me to go and sit in there to do some much needed planting.

Written by someone who has no idea about the mechanics of gas supply. Yes you can cut the supply to large industrial users (the agreements are in the contract) but to ration doemstic gas supplies I would like to see how they would operate that.

Gas in the main ain't like electricity you can't just shut it off.
