I stand corrected.....I've just spent some time on the vbulletin support website and unfortunately it seems that the random upload of images via the "file upload manager" is in fact by design.

So why they have "order by" "sort by" or "view by" as options prior to uploading your images is most confusing.......and by all accounts most websites using VBulletin software actually have 3rd party plug in Photo Galleries which work far better than the current Profile Albums in use on here.

We'll still pass this over to Admin and see if there's anything they can do. It totally infuriated me when I uploaded all of my polytunnel photos after carefully naming them and rearranging them in the uploader, and then it just threw them in random order...
