I was thinking about the website - maybe I should update my blog with garments as a stopgap?

We'd have to take the link out of your sig. if you were using it for sales Jules, and prohibit the posting of the link too I'm sorry if it seems like we're being mean, and you're just sharing with friends. But when you talk about the time spent doing SEO and what a pain it is - GYO have already spent that time and money and they don't want that to be for the benefit of other commercial concerns. Again, I'm really sorry, I hate being mean
We've no problem with you posting pics of what you've made, we love seeing them

Hi Jules, have you considered maybe using ebay for a bit rather than setting up a website? It's less commitment as if you were just a private seller you wouldn't have to always have stock. Just spend however long making stuff, chuck a batch on, then start making more. Another option could be a selling page on facebook, I've got a few friends who sell homemade stuff that way.

I would love it if my wife had a room like that, so handy to pop in and get a cloth for cleaning a piston or mopping up some oil. it is a credit to you, will it stay that way?photo album of my garden in my profile http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...my+garden.html

It did...for a few days but then the worksurfaces were scattered with sewing stuff, piles of matched fabrics for projects etc. It's been tidied majorly several times since.
Helping yourself to fabrics for uses other than sewing is punishable by death. My problem is that people help themselves to my scissors, and trash the blades using them to cut wires etc. All hell has let use after person (or persons) unknown used my fabric shears (£67 a pair!!!) to cut nylon cable ties, wrecking the blades beyond repair. For those not on FB, here's this year's first piccy. Sharing it has brought me in a couple of commissions for pet portraits, so don't expect me to be in here 'chatting' quite so much - enjoy the peace!Attached FilesAll the best - Glutton 4 Punishment
