The AA

AA 'upgraded' my van breakdown cover to silver (well it actually switches over next month) as I have been with them a year - 'great' I thought until I noticed the price was DOUBLE what is currently is now! And some of the benefits would be useful to others but are not useful to me at all, especially when they don't extend them to long wheelbase vans! I will be giving them a call to see if this is right, anyone heard of this?

Shocking. Glad we haven't ever used them. Will not in the future either.

Suggest you find an email and send your experience to The information commissioner, the more they are aware of this occuring then the greater chance there is of something happening. Also it means someone could ask the AA exactly what they are doing especially as they are significantly bigger then the company mentioned in the artical.
