My daughter has a dishwasher - don't think she feeds him any tablets though

If you want to economise even more use washing up liquid
          Like my OH did .

I am using one from Waitrose/Ocado that was their cheapie brand, "Clean and Fresh". Seems to work fine. Although maybe that's just the new dishwasher... we used to use Asda's with the dissolving wrap... when I got the new brand I kept finding an intact tablet in the basket... DH wasn't taking it out of the wrapper but the plates were still clean!!!

I use the W5 All in One tablets from Lidl - not the cheapest, but still cheap. I have tried all of the supermarket cheapest ones and Lidl & Waitrose are the worst.

We've got a B&M Bargains shop now so, as we were experiencing problems with the dishes still being very grubby, I bought Faerie liquitab thingies cheap in there and they are much better for us.

hmmm, seems this is quite a topic!

Well, I recently carried out a test, with my (new 2nd hand dishwasher from ebay)

I put it on economy wash with a finish tablet, and the results were fantastic and the dishes also smelt very nice.

The following day, I used the same setting with asdas own tablet. Dishes were equally as clean, but with no fragrance on the dishes (big deal).

So, cheap as possible tablets works for me....

                  Thank you

When you come round tomorrow you can have 3 more to test - Finish, Adritt and Ecover. Then let us know how you rate them

try testco's brand 'daisey' powder,it last for a very long time, not expensive, lemony fresh,i only ever use the 1/2 hour hot wash, and is great,i do however, rinse or wipe the worst of things of,purly to keep the mess from the inner workings,it's in a large blue box with some yellow on,

Finish were the ones we once used that stripped the pattern off things. Gave most if them away, far tion harsh even with half a tablet. Use Ecover mainly.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I use broken tablets that I got in a tub off eBay, though the seller does not have any in now by the looks of things. Think they'll last me over two years. :-) Mostly they are ones where the rinse aid yellow tab had come off, in my batch at least, so I just make sure I find one of those in the tub to match the tab.

I figure the brands are all reasonable to use - have not seen much difference with the all-in-ones that I tried before I bought these. :-)

Adritt and Ecover tried, and results still good.
