  • At long last........

Have just received contracts from the parish council.
Am taking posession of my plot on 1st May, am over the moon.

the size has been changed, was originally 20m x 5m, but has been reduced to 18m x 4m, still a good size though for £20 a year.

Could only get the one pic though as there is no access until Weds.

can't wait, gates open at 08:00 Weds, all systems go!

Is it just a bare plot? Have you thought about what you're going to do first? How you're going to plant it? and with what??

yeah they're brand new plots, 22 in all. have already chitted my spuds, have 50 red onion and 50 white onion sets, have already got some red and white cabbage seedlings in blow away in garden, have comrey and rhubarb ready to go in the ground, loads of other seeds, cabbage, carrots, snips, etc.
there is a meter path all the way around each plot, so i think i will have my beds across the plot 4m long maybe a meter wide, then have 2 foot wide paths between them and utilise the path around the plot as part of my pathway

Good luck with your new venture. I'm intrigued when you say gates open at 8, are you not allowed in before that?

they are officially opening at that time, so can't get on before.
