Pallets - daft question!

I'm worn out already! I have until tomorrow to take what soil I want from a mound at the side of my house. I either barrow it out of next door onto the road and back into my garden - or perch on top of the mound, shovelling soil into a trug, carrying it up 4 steps, into the barrow and around to the pallets. The latter push is the shortcut but more difficult. Yep - that's what I'm doing
Forget all the nice blending in liners too - ones blue the other's white' cos that's all I have - and they were full of grass cuttings

That's it - I've given up for the day. The crates are approx. half full. I'll give them some mpc to bring the level up a bit more and then, its planting time

I have another little challenge that has arisen out of this but I'll start another thread as its about fencing/walling options

Today, another motley pair of crates appeared, and a great pile of soil that was a flower border. Its full of bulbs and corms and who knows what I've picked out as many as I could but with a Gungho lad barrowing and shovelling the soil into the crates I must have missed lots. It'll be interesting to see how much of it grows.
The lazy bit of me says that, if I constructed a raised bed around the soilheap, I wouldn't have to move it elsewhere

Thanks BB. That is/was the tidy part of the back garden - I've done very little there this year. I really need a couple more of those crates........
This is the sunniest bit of the garden as all the rest has tree cover so now, I have about 36 sq ft of sunny, deep, stone free ground just waiting to be planted up Magic!!
