And if there are a majority of 'none of the above' boxes checked then the parties have to find more suitable candidates......like Wombles.

The Americans have a space where if they don't like any of the candidates, they can fill in one of their own choosing....

          Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
          Endless wonder.

Vote for all or an independent. That way you make your case and vote. I have voted BTW and I hate primary colours

              What are you voting for?

I mean which elections, not which person or party.

No voting round here. The only time I've missed out on voting was for the police thing last year as it really made no sense. I work on the principle that people died for my right and I'm not at all sure I could be that brave but I can at least get off the sofa to make a cross on a bit of paper. None of them are ideal but at least I can support the least bad one.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

No vote for me either. Always vote, if you don't then you can't complain. Just wondering what everyone one thought of making it compulsory like Australia.

Veggielot, I've always thought the Aussies had it right with their system.

I also love their country motto type thing - Australia. Love it or Leave it. Brilliant and it says so much on so many levels.

Hilarious, on the news this morning - listening to all of the losing politicians hastily explaining their failures.

                            UKIP won our ward.

That's a loss for the Tories, but previous to last time we'd been Labour for donkey's years. Protest votes all over, in this town

I didnt bother, mine would have just been a protest vote, probably Purple and yellow.

                                Politically I'm a mess.
