Is that not a tried and tested method Mrs D ? Was there not a scene in Jude the Obscure where Arabelle (?) slid the egg between her breasts ? Or is that all too heavy for a Saturday night

I've heard of it before Alice, but as I've said I dont like wearing a Bra, so with nothing to keep my free flying boobs under control it would probably be a bit dangerous for the egg!

I may be going out on a limb here, but surely a robin's egg is robin's egg blue???

Oh Good, Not just me, I have always thought as much but I looked it up in "The Observer book of Birds' eggs"...remember them and that's what it said.

                      Hi All!

No change yet in the egg, we did a rough 'candle' on Saturday, but nothing conclusive, there's something in their, but no idea as to what it is yet! The egg does appear to have moved in its position a couple of times (or is it wishfull thinking?)!

We did find another similar egg on plot1 at the weekend, which looked as tho a predator had had it for tea, so we'll have to continue waiting for a while longer to see what happens with the one we have 'saved' in its propogator!

Mr D is back in hospital again atm, a post op infection, they are operating tomorrow, so I'll keep you all posted on both Mr D and the egg's progress!
                      Blessings

Oh dear, sorry to hear about Dobby Mrs D - hope he is okay and fit and well in short order.

Hope the egg pulls through too
                        Happy Gardening,

Thanks LJ and STG! I'll pass on your wishes!

He's ok in himself, feels fine, just fed up with being back in hospital again! He's in for surgery to drain the infection tomorrow, then hopefully will be home soon after!
