        This reminds me to say a big thank you to all the people who have been so free with their advice and time since I joined the Vine. I think I nearly drove Zazz to distraction with my first question here but it is thanks to her that I now know why bolting is bad in a biennial plant even though you want seed from it!

              When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
              If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
