Yep, the gift & kitchen areas were there way back when. Then you went up a few stairs to the DIY bit and up a flight of narrow stairs to the pet department. It was always packed with kids of a Saturday.

I can't see us ever being up that way again. I've just been telling the BH about the retail park and the improvements to the garden centre. He was very surprised.

I remember the Indian & Chinese restaurants being very good. I could just eat a Shami kebab....

Is the slaughterhouse still in Millfield? We used to live almost right next to it. Yuck....

Coffee. Garden. Coffee. Does a good morning need anything else?

Spice of Life gets a good name Jules and is still there, although we have not eaten there ourselves (We have a cracker here in Alford village, so tend to use that instead).

I am not sure about a chinese restaurant though.

I will bet a penny to a pound that just about all the staff in Mitchell's Dairy are still the same people that were there 12 yrs ago It still has the big cow stood outside

well I made it out to Inverurie at the back of twelve only to find the event was from 10.00am till 12 noon and not from 12. That'll teach me to check the timing next time.

Maybe KCN should pay better attention to the posters AP. I blame her entirely...

We got there and bought some cabbages, a chocolate habanero, and a couple of kinds of mint, as we only got there about 20 past 11. Went over to Parkhill and was very impressed at their range. Cracking wee GC, thanks for the heads up.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

nah, fault is all mine especially since KCN said she wasn't sure about the time. I couldn't have made it there earlier anyway. ANyways, no matter,it was great weather for an outing it was tipping it down
