Was anyone else as impressed as I was at the glorious, nay, magnificent verdant green sward that was the pitch at White Hart Lane this week, as the mighty Spurs secured fifth spot in the Premiership and an UEFA Cup berth to boot? 
After an entire season, the grass was still looking more like a bowling green than a footie pitch - small wonder that the Spurs groundsman won the Premier League award for the best pitch. Shame it was the only silverware we managed to capture... <big sigh!>
